Hello Pakwheelers.
I have a rather long story and wish to seek guidance from seniors and DIYers and technical people.
I have a mira es 2014 model, a while ago my cars front tyre went into an open sewer, which ended up misaligning the front beam of my car slightly. After that collision control lights lit up and the precollision system stopped working. I got the body realigned perfectly but i have been unable to erase the code.
I have toyota techstream, and i was getting error code c1a11 front radar beam axis incorrect axial gap. I did some research and figured out that the front millimiter wave radar sensor needs calibration. Since daihatsu japan or toyota japan doesnt provide repair manuals on TIS, i had to google up some articles and procedures which were not exactly specific for mira but were applicable to CHR Lexus etc. I made a DIY SST reflector and tried adjusting the screws on the radar to fix the alignment, but was unsuccessful. I was able to adjust horizontal axis but vertical was not moving. I was wondering if someone could tell me what am i doing wrong or if theres an easier way to fix it. I will be grateful.
