Daihatsu Move pick issue

AoA,

My Move 2011 is having pick issue. Some mechanic says get catalytic converter serviced. But isn't CC related to exhaust system only? How can it fix my pick?

Also, what to get checked? Plugs and filters are OK. Manifold?

CC does effect pick up, i got it cleaned in my corolla and i wish i could explain what wonder it did on the smoothness and pickup ...so get it cleaned... check the plugs .. also get ur throttle body cleaned if needed

Just to share for everyone's knowledge: I got the car serviced from Toyota dealership, and they fixed the pick issue. It was a normal tuning procedure they did, cleaning spark plugs, throttle body, and general maintenance. They didn't open and clean CC, saying that it's not necessary if the above solve the issue, and it did.
