i do had sj 410 earlier used it for quite some time.... now want to upgrade ...i like rocky alot... have 1 mill in my budget.... dont want those fuel thirsty 4x4.. gets hand-on information from mechanics...going to start my project soon inshallah.... yeah bachpan say shoq is a factor too... not showoff kinda person.... read many threads .... got my mind cleared that what i want.... will definitelyy share updates with you guys soon inshallah...

only dig into a project when the owner is more than 50% hands on involved in it. If owner is wallet holder - very bad results are seen.

But what he is planning is not possible Rocky is a daily driven vehicle but if you can sacrifice the luxury of a motor car.2L and 3l along with auto tranny will throw you in a pot hole where you would lift the vehicle through tractor only. Both of those engine are dead in 4x4 pulling.My rocky has its oem 2.8L dl engine in it with 4 speed transmission I enjoy its torque and power in offroading.
a chevy LS can fit in the rocky easily. Then he can enjoy way more torque that the rocky was ever designed for.
so sir you want him to swap a ls and then on every corner with 4x4 engaged he would do donuts on AWD and ends up breaking the gear + Diffs
i am unmarried so no issue from family... already have car for daily use...

toyota 22R with auto gear. - same old cressida engine. Good torque.
