Daihatsu terios/ rush 7 seater 4x4

AOA. I've been searching for terios 4x4 7 seater 2010 plus models due to family requirements. All available are manual transmission. Those with auto gears are 4x2. Why is this so? I was told that they are probably not Japanese import. Is that true?
Available RUSH models are not 7 seater.
Any other advise about this vehicle?

Available rush's are not 7 seater. I had one in gilgit and its a pretty good vehicle. Had it for a year and it didn't give any problems. However, they are very costly here in punjab. I saw a person demand 3.0 million for one in mint condition.

I've also kept a Toyota wish 7 seater. Kept it for 5 years and it was a great vehicle. You could also consider this option.

Thank you for your reply. You are right about the cost. One starts to think about Prado 96 in this price.

Wish is good but it's ground clearance is an issue. Besides mostly available are 2006 model.

I think it is because of the price and duty factor that most of 7-seats are 4x2 drive. Just like Juke, most of the Jukes imported in Pakistan were FWD you will hardly find and 4x4.

Not sure about your budget... but if you are thinking about Prado, I would suggest that you also look for Surf also..though luxury feature wise Prado is much better than a Surf but you will get a newer model

Thank you TM. My requirement is 7 seater, preferably 4x4( no hard core intentions, just get out of mud if required) and enough ground clearance. And of course a daily runner. Now a days with raised diesel price, Prado/surf are not a daily runners. Unfortunately terios is the only one that meets these requirements.
BRV is good but no 4x4.

Did you consider a Honda crossroad or a vitara?

Vitara XL 7. Yes. Proper 7 seater 4x4. But they are few and has 2.8 v6 petrol engine. I think that should be heavy on fuel.
Cross road never crossed my mind. But less common cars have spare part issues.

Mitsubishi rvr is another option but i doubt you'll reject that too

Lolz​. Surprisingly before reading your reply, I stumbled upon rvr ad on pakwheels. Fascinating to see 4wd +dif lock. Around 24 lac. But as you guessed correctly...not 7 seater. Mitsu outlander is probably....but one on pakwheels is 85 lac

Here avaialable RVR's have optional 4wd(on a dial). Not AWD. Not sure if 4 L is there.
