Respected Pak Wheelers Experts AoA,
Is daily inspection of car necessary?
Is it better to start car for five minutes at idling after daily inspection?
Daily Inspection includes to check all fluids, lights, coolant level, tire pressure, and belts tension plus car starting at idling for 5-10 minutes.
One of army driver having 20 years experience told me to do this practice to keep my car mechanically at optimum condition.

I think daily inspection of these things is just a waste of time, maybe weekly or even monthly inspection is just fine for your car to be in the optimum condition if there's nothing wrong with your car.

The rest is your choice.

tire pressure 32 psi front and 30 psi rear
engine oil
coolant level
serpentine or V belt
air and ac filter
all lights
once a week or must be month
no problem

What about starting of engine at idling for 5-10 minutes??

If yes then what's suitable interval i.e daily, weekly ....

If you have an old historical type car then may be daily inspection can help.
For the newer cars with models within the first 5 years then monthly or quarterly inspection is ok as well

no sir, modern cars (EFIs) do not need idling more than a minute for oil to lubricate its engine.
it's a good practice though for older cars to inspect water level in radiator before going on road trip, especially if the car has a history of decreasing water level.
other than that daily inspection is not feasible for anyone except who has a job of taking care of the car, i.e., drivers etc.
weekly or biweekly inspection of fluids is enough !

For warming up car2 min ideling is sfficient to turn blue cold light in meter panel.
But most negelected thing in winter is AC...
AC should be switch on atleast 5min per week... to avoid AC gas leackage...

Newer engines donot need idling more than 30-60s, Checking everyday seems excessive but each to their own. I have checked maybe once or twice a month, and sometimes even after 3 months. Mine only runs out of windshield washer fluid as i use it often while parking the car outside. Tyre pressure maybe once or twice a month. Again it is upto you to decide according to your usage and mental satisfaction

not gas leakage but circulation of refrigerant or gas once a month
how gas can be leaked as system is sealed

Although AC is sealed.. in order to avoid seepage of gas at joints... it should be switched on weekly basis...
It is mentioned in ps car owner manual to switch on AC regularly...

Normally I have to use this car for long trips once a month. According to you guys weekly inspection as AC is required to be switched on is enough.
Is anything else which you guys to add please??
I have learned that if you take care of your vehicle then in return vehicle takes care of you during ride.

engine oil SAE 0W20 honda genuine engine oil or 5w30
3.7 liters with oil filter and 3.5 liters without oil filter
drain interval 5k kms
oil filter 10k kms
air filter 10k kms
battery tonic 5k kms check or refill
only honda genuine parts though costly but long lasting
very true care pays back a lot

oil in the system helps lubricate the o-rings. So not using it for some time can make the o-rings dry out, harden, thus you start to get a leak.
