The pictures you see are most probably in the holding yard and the damages could be from anything or anyone falling on the vehicle or the vehicle falling off something itself.
Most common damage is the left side, with scrapes on it as if its hit something hard. Most probable cause of it must be launching off the speed check barrels and hitting the sides, but since all vehicles bear similar marks I think a car carrier fell on its side with these cars loaded on it.
Not for sale, the damages are assessed, repaired and off they go, palmed off as a spanking new car to the consumers.
