Dear Rx8 Rx7 owner...

since in pakistan alot of rx7s and soon to be rx8 gettin 1jza engine swaps due to rotary engines failing as their arnt any rotary mechanics as such or what eva the reason can u please let me know id buy the stuffed engines from u guyz n would pay a ammount for a wrecked/stuffed/damaged engine.

Since they would be no use to u guyz u mite just leave them at ur mechanics place who does the conversion i would happily buy them off u.

im in australia at the moment but my brother is in pak i can easily arrange for him to pick it up from u if ur located in karachi or i can get my cousin to pick it up if ur located in punjab

i would highly appreciate it if i person could sell me their engine rather then dumping it at the workshop where they get a engine swap done....

GUYZ one more question would use want to have rotary cars arround in pakistan if they absoulty kicked every type of cars ass and produced good power and sounded crazy as i alwayz wanted to bring the rotary dream to pakistan.

guyz any 13b or 20b except for a fc 13 na..

i would like a damaged one so i can play arround with it while im in pakistan and may b use it....or the rotars mite even become show pieces,so it be cheap so if somones plaining to dump it at the workshop,i would like to buy it off...

but still can u rougly give me a idea because once i saw a front cut on this...the guy was asking 220 k for the engine n box which was way too expensive then a auto 1jza i saw at shershah...

so what could roughly be a price of pakistan most failed performance engine..

hmmmmm , bringing the rotary dream to pakistan , well my friend you and me are in the same boat as i am a big fan of rx7 and rotary engines, and i also try my level best to promote and educate people about rotary engines who think that these engines are unreliable ,

sure rotary engines are maintenance hungry and does not like heat, but thats about it , if you take care of the engine and dont abuse it then the engine will take of you, simple,,

well iam also in search of a blown 13b rotary engine , i just want to play with it hehehehe and see if i can pull something out of it heheheh !!!!!! . it will be expensive considering the price of an rx7 engine overhaul kit with all the apex seals and what not (RS 175000) ,

ROTARY IS EXPENSIVE IN TERMS OF MAINTENANCE !!!!! point to be noted .

heya..

yeah no doubt these kits r relatively expensive but if u think bout it ull neva get that sort of performance out of other engine unless u spent alot on it.

i have gone through 4 rotary cars so far n i dnt think they need all that maintaince as ppl make it u just got to be carefull of wat to do n wat not to do n have a good ecu in australia microtechs been very good for old school rotars.

well roughly how much do u think a 13b rew should b in pakistan either damaged or runing tryin to get an idea caz either way id wana rebuild it with all the goodies

well a used rotary will cost you around (just an estimate) 125 to 150k , unless a seller is aware of the buyer that how much he is desperate to get the engine . yaar my segestion is to get a overhaul kit and overhaul your engine simple,

wow !!!!! are saying you got your hands on a 4 rotor 26b race engine , yaar plz post some pics of it ,

hehehe my dream is to put a 20b 3 rotor in my rx7 and make it the first and the only 3 rotor rx7 in pakistan , i hope my dream comes true , hehehe , then it will be bye bye for the supra and skylines ,

and not to mention the amazing sound of a 20b rotary , it sounds like a formula 1

heheh we sort of share the same dream im gettin a fd next year over here no i didnt have a 4 rotar ive had 4 different rotar cars b4 so im alrite wif them....

i would love to have a 20b in a fd aswell but i belive 13b can put out as much power with the rite mods the only difference 13b would b at its peak to deliver such power where as the 20b would b comfortable at it......

blown 13bs breing 125k or 150k thats too much y so much when its worth shit to the guy no ones gona rebuiild it any way for that price a person can buy a 1jza n mostly would do that....

by the way those overhaul kit price u mentioned is very cheap they r way more expensive in sydney plus the gear is high quality too u dnt wana put cheap seals in n have another blown seal after a few 100 kmz.

yep you are right my friend , the prices that i told you are just an estimate , dont take my word for it yaar hehehe !!!! , maintaining a rotary is expensive , my overhaul theory is if you are doing it do it right the first time ,

and yaar if you are going to ask someone to give their blown or used rotary engine at a cheap price like say 40k to 50k , i think no one will sell at that price , cause the seller knows that (you) the buyer knows about rotary , and will try to sell it at high price (then again its my experience )

bottom line is..if we were millionaires yes we could afford a rebuild and aftermarket parts.....but the reality is we can buy 3 1js in the price of rebuilding one rotary engine. So you do the Math!

As far as wrecked engines go....we might be able to get them for you for around 70-80k.

man i understadn where ya comin from but trust me its not all that expensive to rebuild ur motar as u mention it....like the mods would cost u same as ud pay for ur 1jz like turbo, waste gate etc...wif rotars u really need to run a good ecu n have a good safe tune n alot of ppl thing u cant hammer the rotar where is if u dnt hammer it u will blow it u need to really give it to em to make em last longer n b stronger....

well the price of the car hmmm i really do not want to disclose that info. but i can tell you that it was not cheap bringing her all the from islamabad to karachi hehehe !!!!

well next up big upgrades for my beauty will come from RE Amemiya the rotary experts in japan , well i hopei get my FD tunned by them, figures crossed hehehe !!!!

hmm ud wana get it tuned by RE amiya so u plan to take it to japan or somthin thats probably too hard...get apexi power fc n go from there may b look for garrett or hks twinturbo setups if not after the single turbo.
