Mega Malls

Lets talk about some of the mega malls of Dubai..

The Dubai Mall is the world's largest shopping mall based on total area and fourteenth largest by gross leasable area and is surpassed in that category by several malls including the South China Mall, which is the world's largest, Golden Resources Mall, SM City North Edsa, and SM Mall of Asia.

The Mall's Dubai Ice Rink multi-purpose venue, uses refrigeration plant technology by developing 1.5 inches (38 mm) of ice bed, 2 times the thickness of an NHL ice rink for Olympic-sized attraction. Dubai Ice Rink can host a capacity of up to 2,000 guests, when converted into a multi-functional hall with a multimedia system

There is a Huge book store there named as Book World which is a massive 68,000 square feet paragon book gallery which stocks more than a half million books and a thousand magazines in English; Arabic; Japanese; French; German and Chinese , sadly dint find any book in Urdu. The Place is a Dream area for Book lovers. Seriously , inspite of full day tiredness , i spent a hour there by visiting the whole library and reading some indexes .

Mega Malls

Mall of the Emirates , the name also given to a metro station which is connected directly to the Mall of the Emirates by an enclosed overhead walkway. The mall also hosts a number of family leisure offerings include the Magic Planet family entertainment area, a 14-screen VOX Cinema (30 AED Ticket), 500-seat capacity Dubai Community Theater & Arts Center and the most attractive one Ski Dubai (the Middle East's first indoor ski resort and snow park)

Have been there after the Next day of Our Reunion Dinner , that's why in the same dress

Ski Dubai is a large indoor skiing facility at Mall of the Emirates, offering snowboarding, ski lessons, children's play area and cafe. It opened in November 2005 and houses the world's largest indoor snow park.

Mega Malls

Ibn-e-Batuta Mall is a large shopping mall having more than 270 shops, 50 restaurants, a 21-screen cinema including the UAE's only IMAX theatre and over 4,500 parking spaces on a total of 521,000 square meters. World's largest themed shopping mall is uniquely and beautifully designed to value and appreciate the travels of the famous Arabic explorer Ibn Battuta.

Day before my Flight back , been there with a buddy Owais on the same day following Miracle Garden.

It consists of six courts, each of whose designs are inspired by some of the countries visited by the great , Ibn Battuta: Egypt Court , India Court, China Court , Andalusia Court , Persia Court, Tunisia Court.
