Why is this even a question? How will they spot the camera in the first place? Even if they did, why would they have a problem? I have been stopped over at multiple check points and no one has been able to spot my Dash Cam, ever. It's placed behind the rear view mirror and no one can tell if there's a camera there.
Also, it's totally legal and you're totally within your rights to have a dash cam on your car.
With the traffic norms we have in Pakistan where the car driver always gets the blame, it is crucial that we have a dash cam in our cars. Otherwise, who's going to prove or, even support your innocence in the court of law should something bad happen because of another idiot? There are little to no CCTV cameras in Pakistan. There's no law protecting the automobile drivers either. The blame is always shifted on the bigger vehicle.
Also, it comes in really handy in the parking spots with parking mode enabled.
Not to mention, you can record your journey without ever touching your phone, how awesome is that?
Check out my video from my recent trip to Galiyat and subscribe the channel if you like it coz I will be uploading more footage from the road trip so stay tuned!
Hope I was able to give you the answer you were looking for.
