Wouldn't it be great if Pakwheels created a database of all the car models available in Pakistan, both local and imported, alongwith their pics, specs and prices.

It won't be very difficult because of the limited number of models available in the local market.

We are in process of collecting local cars database, we have collected 80% , rest 20% in 1 or 2 days, on saturday will start the Local Cars section.. Inshallah..

the problem was going to each car dealer i mean manufacturer's office getting the brochures & prices .. still we don't have for Fiat! if anybody knows where is the showroom for Fiat in karachi please let me know so we can get the cars for Fiat on PakWheels.com.

Basically the "New Arrivals" link on the left will be completely updated with specs / prices / pics, etc etc...

Well, I guess Fiat Pakistan is been operated by Raja Industries( The one which used to be the maker for rikshaws and vespas). As far as i remember they got their office on Main Shahrah-e-Faisal, on Main Nursery the way towards FTC before Sindhi Muslim. There is a PSO Pump along with it aswell. There is or perhaps was a dealer of FIAT just opposite of Paraidi Police Station Saddar, on the road which turns left from Tibet Centre.

Nice beginning. But plenty of room for improvement. The prices are still missing. And some models also, like KIA Classic, Sportage. Among the imported models, you have included Chevrolet but not Mitsubishi, BMW and Nissan. They have their local dealerships you can get the details from there.
Indus Motors has also introducted the imported Toyota Camry. You should include that.
You can check out www.indiacars.com. They have built a nice database of cars available in India. Or you can go to www.cartoday.com of South Afica.
Many auto companies don't have websites in Pakistan, and the ones who have website, they don't update them. Once www.carspk.com, a section of Kalpoint.com had built a database of Pakistani cars with their prices. But then, they didn't update it with time.

thanks shueyb for your comments, yes there is plenty of room for improvement Actually for prices there will be totally seperate 1 page with complete pricing so people can compare, instead of going to each Model and looking at price individually

Actually the main problem is typing the whole printing manual into Excel then moving it to website, which takes some time.. as we don't want to just scan the specs .. and put it as Image.. hopefully in a weeks time we'll have complete Nissan, and few others which are remaining.

Prices will be online once we find proper source for getting regular updated prices.

Please add Suzuki Celerio in the list of cars. Many imported Celerios are available for sale in Pakistan but sellers are unable to enlist their cars in specific category. Also add its versions as SZ2, SZ3 & SZ4 ....And AGS...etc....

Probably, you are asking about the car datasets that developers use for their projects. Am I right? If yes, then you should see this Kaggle source. However, I am a little disappointed because it is still a used vehicle data. Actually, I am looking for a complete list like this US vehicle dataset where models, brands, and manufacturers are separately tagged. It should also be available in different backend frameworks for web scrapping.

I also searched Pakwheels in this regard, but I didn't see any source related to Pakistani vehicle dataset. I would be grateful if any of you share such dataset.

the Celerio is manufactured in Pakistan by Pak Suzuki Ltd under the Suzuki Cultus badge. Everyone can see Cultus related reviews, issues and there is fan club thread as well.
