we are using both dawlance and orient
orient are so so
dawlance is very good
hitachi is excellent
kenwood is also very good

I hve orient 1.5 Ton Heat and Cool model installed in my drawing room.works very good in summer as well as winter.

One of the advantages of orient is that its one ton model is 13000BTU whereas dawlance is 12000BTW............ both models cost 22K approx at the moment........... old model of hier is for 22K and the new one with so called double condenser which is supposed to be even more energy efficient is for 25K. I am a little more inclined towards the brand hier as when our dawlance washing machine was repaired the component which were installed in it were actually made by hier..... and the dealers say that hier has the same compressor as the one in mitsubishi........

dont buy Orient...............its good but its throw is pathetic (N)
u can barely feel the air :S

so go for Dawlannce but my advice go for Haier............!!!!

bought Orient 1.5 ton about 3 weeks ago and so far its doing very good ,cooling and throw are fine. No problems so far and am satisfied.

All the three have almost same quality. Go for one whose shape attracts you most.

i am using orient 15 ton for the past 2 years . they are good. reliable and good cooling. haven't used dawlance .

Well, I have both: Orient and Dawlance and for me they both work fine...But i think Dawlance is a bit better than Orient...It goves more instant cooling than Orient's...Well, this is what I have experienced ...Rest is your decision..
