Dear All,

Being in Karachi you have the pleasure of being stuck in karachi or a few destinations to visit. I have visited Ormara, Rashidabad etc which are a day or two day trips, can any one suggest any new places which can be visited so that we can get away from Karachi for some peace and rest... Gorakh Hills is still not developed so cannot go except on 4x4, any other close places where there is a place to stay and once can enjoy with family...and no i am not talking about farm houses as they dont count....

Shah Aqeeq is about an hour drive from Thatta and its route is via Sujawal-Chohar Jamali an then Shah Aqeeq But not a place worth to be visited by karachities. Only a Mazar. I knew this place very well as my Farm is on the way (4 KM before Chuhar Jmamli).

Brought this up instead of creating a new thread.

I am planning a day trip outside karachi by leaving at around 7 Am. Thinking to visit Thatta / Makli and then maybe Keti Bunder and back to Karachi by 5 Pm.

What is the road condition from Makli to Keti Bunder ?

Any other route suggestion which is accessible by a small car (chev excl) and which is safe ? Cannot plan towards the makran coastal highway since I will be having only 1 car.

Timely suggestions may make my day.
