I had such a bad experience with Haier DC Inverter AC. Read my email to Haier for details:
"We purchased Haier DC Inverter AC from RubaSEZ outlet in P.D.Khan district Jhelum in midst of summer season 2017. The cooling decreased considerably in 2nd season. We got it serviced but it made no difference at all. This is 3rd season and it became completely useless. It did not make any difference from 16 to 26°C setting. We finally contacted Haier Customer Service via Helpline. As a result, we were contacted by a local technician from PD Khan. He checked it and told that everything was perfect, only gas was low. He was charging Rs.4500 for gas and Rs.500 visit charges. We paid visit charges and called a private technician who charged only Rs.330 for small qty of gas filled in. We provided verification code to Haier Official and complaint was closed.
A few day later, we lodged complaint again because after refilling gas, result was same. I also asked Haier Rep on Helpline for provision of Schedule of Charges by informing that your technician was charging Rs.4500 to refill gas of Rs.330. Rep told that it may be asked from Support Center in Jhelum. Consequently, support center told that "DC Inverter AC is different from others. Gas can be filled only after completely vacating already filled gas."
Anyways, this time, same technicians (local) came after repetitive calls to Customer Service. They check and said that gas pressure was low again, rest was fine. They filled it without vacating already filled gas and said that it was done, again asking Rs.4500 for the same. We asked them to wait for ten minutes so that we check performance of AC. After 10 minutes, we told that there is no improvement. They then said that fan compressor was weak (although indoor wasn't showing any error code). Well, we asked them to change any malfunctioning part as we were ready to pay for it except Compressor which was in warrenty. They kept on pretending and finally vacated the compressor and refilled new gas. We paid Rs.4500+Rs.500(visit charges) again.
The performance of AC didn't improve and although we didn't provide Verification Code, complain was closed as told by Helpline rep.
I raprimended the rep for closing complaint without customer's consent.
We lodged another complaint which was once again closed with fake remarks. This time، Helpline rep told that Senior Technician will visit but Jhelum Support Center was trying to share phone number of already sent technicians.
Once again, we have lodged reminder complain but we are waiting from 6th August to 10th August (working days before Eid Holidays), reminded again and again but none has visited so far. By checking status on your website, it shows details of already closed complaint.
We have two Haier ACs, 01 Enviro UPS and a Haier Refrigerator in our house and after this extremely dissatisfying and poorest Customer Service Experience, We hate Haier. We have decided never to buy any Haier Appliance ever again and also recommend friends not to buy Haier. We will also share our experience on all social media forums where Haier DC Inverter AC has been reviewed. Although other brands are offering 12 years Compressor Warranty, you are offering only 5 years and that also becomes useless because your locally hired technicians may not earn Cash from customer if they take compressor for warranty claim.
