The lower end of the engine has been opened up, and there is no noise or damage in the connecting rods or the crankshaft.
I had gotten the noise diagnosed from 2 different mechanics, both said it was from the connecting rods....
So should we open up the head to check the pistons, or can there be other reasons for such a noise.
Just recall, there was a rattle type noise at a particular rpm, not before, nor after, the noise was quite loud when the vehicle was moving.
The engine had no starting issues, no smoke issues, acceleration was alright, but that would probably be due the injectors....
The mechanic will probably open the head tomorrow, unless someone has a better suggestion, I am all ears
