Dead W210 220 cdi. Looking for solutions

As much as I would want to do that, I can't manage that, I know enthusiasts in dubai who can do the purchasing, and know someone in the airlines who can get them here. But going this far will be done if I switch mechanics to one with precision tools.
For now, I am gonna explore the market and make a decision on Sunday probably. Have a small surgery planned for the pajero on Saturday, and frankly, that is a bit higher on the priority list atm.

Overhauling in Pk of any engine is a big NO like i said in my first post ustaad ji will not be able to bring the engine even to 70% ......oil leaks ,seepage etc etc you name it.It is going to take you atleast a year to keep tweaking the engine to bring it to a healthy state. Believe me i have been to the best Ustaad in RWP/ISB still they managed to ruin a simple m112 engine. Salam hai

sir if you are sourcing parts yourself and present while assembling, physically supervising with hands dirty nose greased it will hardly fail. in past 10 years i have not swapped any engine. if & when parts are tricky to source help comes from abroad against list of items provided. i shared one example above did another prado rebuild with help of xulfiqar ironically only corolla thread is alive prado one gone during 2018 platform migration

Ive seen ustaads try to andaaza or "blanco mark" the timing on a mercedes m112 rather than buy the timing locks.

Same ustaads reusing the front crank pulley bolt and not using install sleeve on rear main seal.

Only 2 extra tools are required, nothing more. And either find yourself a person who has tooling or buy the tooling and get hands greasy.

Being wallet holder is a bad idea in both swap and overhaul.

Same here, i was also in the favour of overhaul. Since the old engine was In better nick than this scrap yard engines. Let's hope for the best.

For cargo you can ship it via Daewoo cargo. You can call nearest Daewoo cargo or hire a van which drops it to Daewoo main near eme nust. And one shipment to lahore would be around 2200-2600 for 80kg and for beyond 80 it would be around 3-3200

You send engine, get estimate. Approve the estimate and then send money for parts (or however we agree)

I suggest leave the parts headache as well.

Yes. I have had it with everything, so much drama and bullshit isn't good for health. I gave the mechanic and spare parts fellow an ultimatum on last Wednesday to get their stories straight and shit together by Sunday, I want work to initiate Monday, no matter what you do.
Monday came, hell broke loose, 2 days of constant this that... And we have come to an understanding that overhaul will initiate tomorrow, the parts supplier will supply all parts necessary, may it be purchasing new or providing used ones, the necessary bits will be used new, the rest will be used as per availability.
Now as we know that this is gonna be a freakshow, but it's going to cost nothing, am going to go ahead with it. The mechanic is as skilled as an illiterate mechanic can be, and will be willing to do whatever extra I ask of him, incase I have doubts of his procedure.
