So based on this, the refrigerant in the vehicle is now 1kg, means the problem must be elsewhere

Plus if you've any doubts about 1300grams of refrigerant addition. Will remove 300-400grams from your system just for your satisfaction. And then again will add those 300grams back fresh from r134a cylinde

Lol. I quoted here the information that you gave me. I didn't take the refrigerant out and weigh it. So if there is a doubt in your mind, we can do that, but if you misspoke, then will look for alternate solutions

It also needs oil to be filled in the crankcase from its dedicated fill

At every recharge or just once? This is the original compressor, will check the number on it but I guess it will be 7sbu16 which means replacement will probably be upcoming. Do you by any chance remember the model number of the replacement compressor?

no thats filled only once when put into service or when rebuilding full system, - I wrote it because I have seen a lot of failures because people assumed its filled from the ports like a regular compressor.

btw - the model 7sb16c is old and is trash and were factory equipment on W140, 210, 163 etc, the later updated one is 7sb16uc - its also made by a lot of other manufacturers like success etc.
