I have my little business here too, but secondary and mostly dealing with deep level diagnostics (the guy shop call to fix what they cannot understand or dont have time or tooling for).

E.g. idiot cvt failures, garbage in canbus etc. U know the irritating stuff. And someone is going round town telling people that I redo mazda/ford 2.3 engine and autogear.. need to find that person.

But the extensive knowledge of yours matches the bots' intelligence but they only difference is that the bots lag behind you because you're human and that combination of machine like intelligence+human mind/congnition is rare and precious.

remove the radiator and flush it clean

will definitely get this done.

remove the charge cooler (intercooler) and have it cleaned out.

Do not use a dirty charge cooler on your new engine, you never know how much crap is packed in there. Also replace the engine mounts as they are a bit difficult to remove with assembled car because the A/C compressor and engine mount arms sort of hinder it. Also check the steering rack mounting donuts,

these things have already been done a week back, foundations and mounts are used new.

The mechanic i use is a bit thorough and a one man show who takes a bit longer than the usual time frame. He said that it would take him 4 days to properly replace the engine, clean all the required things and also replace the gearbox.

Toyota techies did it for me. I believe CVT temperature should be around 45 C while doing it
