LPG = Liquified petroleum gas, there is no way it can explode unless a naked flame is in proximity, in case of accident or line rupture a leak will have smell and frozen cold leaking point is always visible. The LPG cylinder construction is much more light weight & stress free compared to CNG.
The only problem is in Karachi there is ONE - yes ONLY 1 LPG pump at Shahrea Faisal downward track, 2nd station almost ready at University road near Suparco junction may start working in next 4 - 6 weeks ( as per inquiry in dec 2013) so far only HASCOL is establishing LPG stations. Hascol sponsored Dec Volkwagon show at Forum Karachi.
unless CNG stations are converted to LPG stations in metro cities LPG kit remains highly uneconomical. - from nearest residential area of Shah Faisal Colony that singular LPG station is approx 7 kms, and to turn around & go back add another 4 kms means 7x2=14+4 = min 18 km per tank wasted
Zeeshan hassan whats your input on LPG station locations being a LPG user., please share
