Please consider 1.3 manual city as well, if u want a fuel efficient car..

Brother go for Altis 1.6 new or 2-3 year old non CVT variant model depending on your budget. It will give you great comfort plus decent mileage.
City will give you decent mileage but no comfort and civic will give comfort but bad mileage.

That’s still pretty bad. I get around 13 on my 1.5T on daily Satellite Town to Blue Area commute, and that’s without eco mode. I remember I once went to Toli Peer on a 9th gen Civic with 5 people and the car gave an average of 7km/L.

I have city 1.5 prosmatec. Go for it if economy is a concern. It does not lag, however suspension and rest of the feel is same as city 1.3.

What is fuel average? Can you tell me after refilling complete tank, how many KMs do you drive it for?

It depends on the driving conditions and your mood. I have got 15.5 km/l on motorways on some days, while sometimes when I want economy, I get somewhere around 19 km/l. In city traffic again it varies from 9 to 14 km/l depending upon how much you floor the throttle. (readings on console when compared to full tank calculations over read by about 1km/l)

Yes. CVT is in grande only i think. May be simple 1.8L altis also has CVT but I'm not sure about that.
