Honestly i would never try this

This is another way to get brake fade/ failure , i had them fitted on a 2010 Altis and the brakes got so hot the leather de-attached from the metal part and no more brakes.

These effect the cooling of brakes ALOT. If i was you i would just painted the calipers red with some proper powder coat which involves baking process.

Looks really nice BUT on the otherhand it is never recommended to anyone to physically modify or play with brake calipers. You could have simply painted origional calipers. Adding cover to them means your calipers would become more hot as covers would prevent convective cooling via air which could result in brake failure and on top of that you actually drilled holes in calipers...i mean seriously what were you thinking...Untreated and unfinished hollow spaces on a part that is usually under very high stress when in operation, could develop fatigue cracks over a period of time ,which are so small that you wont be able to notice them with your naked eye but under high stress operation they could cause abrupt breaking of parts and a massive failure.....

First the Brembo cover was trimmed with cutter and hacksaw in such a way that it properly sits on the brake caliper.
It was made sure that the face of the Brembo cover was not deteriorated.

1 - it screams RICE
2 - you have put up a baffle on the caliper and are blocking air flow from the caliper surface
3 - you have drilled into the caliper body and forgot to take into consideration that the caliper body design actually handles a heck of a lot of load.

I invite you to inspect your brake calliper by opening one wheel physically. Your calliper is quite big!
Also it's quite thick too. Brembo is covering hardly 25% of it! So ventilation is quite fine. Regarding drills they are very small and calliper is very sturdy and thick. And believe you me no cracks. I have tested the car at higher speeds afterwards the brakes are perfect

I think silicone is an insulator which would make wheels more hot
