Defending HEC

AoA , Guyz Please Step Up and Defend HEC, Its the Matter of our future and the future of hundreds of Scholars Studying abroad on HEC Scholarship. Why are Dr. Atta and Dr. Naqvi fighting for our future alone? What are we doing in our cozy chairs?

I dont know but sumthin like protest is on 5th April, If its happening , then we shud join them in a peaceful protest just to show the govt that we defend HEC

For those who don't know : Govt Announced that HEC will be decentralized among the Provinces, Infact it means There will be no HEC.

BTW what does it means to dissolve HEC? I didn't read the news so far, can you explain in simple words?

its simple, splitting the Higher Education Commission into smaller units... government plans to devolve higher education to the provinces, There will be no HEC , rights and authorities will be transfered to provinces , Phir provinces sochain gy k unhon nay HEC ka kaam kaisay kerna hai .. in simple words .. Province ki marzi k usnay Higher education ka kiya haal kerna hai apnay province main.

They are devolving HEC to provinces so each province will have its own HEC. The reason behind this is political i.e 'elected' fake degree holder MPAs want to get HEC under their control so they can get away with their fake degrees.
HEC has been checking all degrees of parliamentarians and many have been found fake, the big fish are not cooperating with this checking and have not given their degrees for scrutiny.

It was a part of the 18th amendment as i've heard, but we all know this is an more of an "up yours" over the fake degrees issue, making this provincial will screw everything. There is little coordination between the provinces and this will screw things for people who go to other provinces to study.

The only thing we do can as a student, as a youngster is to tell the govt that we are against this decision .. coz Media aur HEC nay shorr machana shuru ker dia hai ... just students and youngsters are left to raise their voice ...

The real problem is that the government no longer has any money to fund the HEC, and universities by extension. This is yet another manifestation of the worsening financial crunch being faced by the whole nation, and will only get worse with time.

The financial situation on the country is very grave. 99.99% of the population does not realizes this but our real problem is not electricity shortage or import of old cars. Our real problem is our worsening financial position which is hidden from public and in a couple of years be prepared for Rupee to depreciate massively and see the real worth of your assets nosedive

and I was reading in a newspaper few days back that leaders are demanding bullet-proof cars for themselves and their demand was under consideration. Why these people point out their arrows only on Education. Dont they realize the importance of an educated nation. On the other hand they feel unsecure,that if people will become educated then they have to leave their precious seats.

Although I am not against HEC, but aik banday ko aik aik, 2,2 crore ki scholarship dena in time of economic crises just to study abroad and un ma se kafi wapis bhi nahi atay..

janab akhir HEC ne degrees jaali karar de di thi na........ab hamare pyare sadar sahab ko badla to lena hai. HEC ki itni himmat k PPP k arkan ki degree jali karar de......bas le raha hai wo ab badla............!!!

I wish is ki mout par is ki laash be yar-o-madadgar pari rahe,......kuttay lotay is ki lash par.......ibrat ka nishan bane is ki mout!!
