n how do u come to know that conclusion?

its must be good, but its not the right application.

it has a DB-C weighting and is tightly calibrated.

( dont trust me, go read its reviews , its 120-30db max reader, thats it plus its not meant for car audio use)

lol. as i said, reading reviews is another thing n using it is another. if a meter is accredited by US courts n law enforcement which is used as evident in courts , i wont doubt it!
Car audio? n i thought DB-C weighting WAS for Car audio.

( ur metre is very accurate a clarion in prefab and 5 308 wid monos hit the same spl how accurate )

As for the meter, if ur getting a TL, that no doubt is more accurate than this, but to what extent, do the search on it man.
i didnt buy it n its not even mine, thats pioneer's property. if u think .3-.5 dbs can change the whole outcome of the event, den do buy TL. We didnt coz we were restricted on our budget

u guys can get the tl and test ur sytems ... and then curse the db meter. without even having the tl how can u guys even compare the two meters?

anyway. if the meter was not right then geforce would not had been the winner from his class.

and about the clarion being same as 4 d2, then mayb the clarion took more risk and pumped his volume rather then ppl getting scared and not even going through half of their volume
the first note was 35hz - 45 -55 -60 and many ppl just set their volumes on their 35hz and did not increase it on the rest of the tones... to bad for them. but its not right to belame the meter for tht.

and no body had an issue except for 3-4 losing competitors... i think i would listen to the other 800 ppl rather then listening to the 4.

First : i would highly appreciate to whole Team Deka on their Tremendous Efforts , since 2~3 months for organizing such a mature event , of Pure justice been taken no matter it was 20000 system to 200000+ system (Lolz @ Alpine srry) but Justice have been taken perfectly
2nd thing : this kind of even is first ever done in KHi ,
people haven't any idea whats going on asking me (was that bass/ or song when judge played test tones ) , the good thing is that , the people got some idea what numbers are these , what are they doing
3rd thing : It provoked many peoples to bet and join the competition if next event happens , although many peoples gathered but this event will make an impact in generation NEXT momentum
4rth thing : the funniest part is , some of vehicles with 1500W and 2000W couldnt cross 800W highest spl , and the Ultimate Alpine number plate (2 X stroker and 1 HCCA Orion 5000Wrms ) doing 122 etc Spl

thanks team deka probably i earn respect , but i failed my self to know where 126db and where 140db expectation + since i disturbed cabin gain i failed to get same SPL now

u lost because u stood in the wrong class. u were in 2000+ elite cat.
go check the pics of install on the black civic 2010 , gray civic 2010 , white corolla and then compare them with ur install. u will know y u lost.

Sir i would if u were right, its range was 130db, yes. if a car was louder than 130db, it would have shown 130 over. n as for the application DB-C weighting is the Car audio application. m not arguing coz it wont change anything, but for the sake of discussion so that ppl wont think they were mis judged.

coz ur looking at the wrong site. ill def post a link where u would read about it. we could have bot cm130 too which is half the price of cm140, but we didnt as galaxy audio site itself says cm140 n cm150 meet the same IEC 651 Type 2 standards of SPL meters that cost 5 times as much or more.

numbers are just fine. the reason all of them had low numbers was because of the box! u expect to exceed 130db mark with 35-38 hz tuning and with simple 308 pioneer models and with factory 60A alt and a simple acid battery..... ?

everybody had their best number @ 35-38hz.... all had a db loss on the higher end. 45-60hz.and we ALL know tht spl is all about higher Hz. Tuning! mayb if ppl had made a higher tuned box, they would had hit better numbers.
