Remove the entire housing (2 bolts) what hassan mentioned and you will see the thermostat sitting there.
No need to remove the hosepipe either. But I would suggest inspecting the thermostat housing if your engine is cooled with tap water and has screw type clamps on it, it will be pock marked eroded away on the hose barb nipple. Replace it if you discover such, its cheap and available easily brand new from any suzuki parts shop.
