AOA, I have booked Honda City 1.3 Prosmatic (Navigation) on 04 September, 2018
The online tracking number indicates that my car would be delivered tentatively on 31-12-2018
I require this car on 15 January, 2019.
Moreover i need make of 2019.
Showroom person still says you will get in 2019 and its make would be 2019, but web site of Honda Center is saying that car will be deliver on 31-12-18
Can anyone guide me how to get make of 2019 and delivery after the tentative date

Best case scenario would be to get it registered after the delivery date, that way the model will be 2019. Also, if the website mentions 31st there is a big possibility that it does not get delivered on the exact date. Actual delivery hamesha up down hoti hai.

I think cars are normally registered after delivery... i want to avoid situation by saying model 2018 and registered in 2019. someone suggested to delay the final payment. does this works?

are these the documents released by Factory or by the Showroom dealer.

Yes by delaying the remaining payment you can delay the delivery of your car

There are rules but they arent followed esp by honda , normally payment is demanded 45 days before tdd. So just pay a month before you want your delivery to be scheduled

Balance payment need to be made 45 days prior to delivery date...

You will more likely to get 2018 manufactured car as honda factory remains closed for first 10 days of new year.. So first batch of jan delivereries comes after 20th and it will be highly unlikely to egt car un first batch since your date of delivery is 31/12... Even ig you delay payment they will delay your delivery to feb or even March, since jan is golden period for own business hard to get car when your tdd is different than Jan.

Invoice clearly mention year of manufacturing and yours will scream 2018....

Yes if i were you i woyld talk to dealer for jan delivery and get that in writing or wait till the last week of dec to submit balance payment

Hey @pwuser150792034730, can you please tell me how long after the booking you were able to see Tentative Delivery Date details on the Honda website?

I booked mine on 13 September, same variant as yours and whenever i try to search mine with Relationship# & CNIC # it says "Record Not Found."

I'm just trying to get the idea that how long Honda takes to update their online database.

i was having same issue, then i called customer service to ask them to update my data, then updated with expected delivery date of 31-12-18

We did talk to dealer for delivery of January before booking the car, the dealer confirmed if you book the car in september you will get delivery in January, but now he is saying oh, i cant do much.
The only thing he suggested is to delay the final payment.
Dealer says to give final payment in First week of January.
But i know the next move of Company would be to schedule my car in March or April.
Thats unfortunate but fare in Pakistan

You plz make the PO on 30 Dec and submit the PP on 31 Dec ..in this way your case will be delivered in jan ...

Infact i am planing to give the final payment on first week of January, then lets see how long they can take to deliver me car, but atleast this way i will get make of 2019.

Car 2019 karnae ka faidah .us waqt tak car price phir increase ho jae gi .jitnae car beachtae hua farq parna us sae ziada abhi deye bethoe gae .koi new model to ana nahi ha kae yeh kaam karoe.
Plus ziada delay karoe gae to Toyota has right to confiscate your amount and neither give you car or ur deposit back . It is written in tos.

i will not delay payment too much, just few days.
They have not even asked for remaining payment.
How do i will come to know about remaining payment ?
