Denter Painter in Rawalpindi / Islamabad

I have bought a Mehran 2007. It needs paint job as well as denting. (Also engine rebuild)

I am in a search of good yet affordable denter, painter as well as mechanic.

I reside in Gulraiz, so Soan garden, pwd, car chowk one will be plus point.

The engine rebuild cost I have got is 40-50k from local mechanics and upto 100k from reknown workshops

I plan to keep this car for 2-3 year at least so want good work, but the variation in prices is so confusing

Good work comes at cost. With bad rebuild job you will spend thrice in 2-3 years.

I did message DM motors for engine rebuild but the cost was double of what local mechanics are asking.

If you are mentioning Dmotorsports, although they cost more but then their work is far superior than "local mechanics"

But Engine rebuild cost in local market is 40-50k, their estimate was 80-90 for mixed parts and upto 100k for japanese parts.

Is this worth it on this engine, I would happily pay 10-20k for known workshop like them. but its double!

If you buy japanese parts they will cost around 40-50k. No one will rebuild for FOC.

Any person claiming for 30k-40k rebuild with japanese parts is telling lie, Or they will not change many parts.

To me the dear brother is I think living in the stone age and has no clue about anything.
Go to any Suzuki part shop eg wasim autos, pk autos, potohar autos. Ask them about the following and I'm sure you must be knowing maths and adding the total cost would tell you that 30-40k mein you get what.

Anything if I'm missing.

Machinist cost is usually between 13-17k
Labour cost is between 10-14k depends on workmanship and accuracy etc head bolt and bigen bolt torque.

Rest lubes and coolant.

Plus take my advice it's your choice to go to Nike outlet any buy a 86k shoes or going to landa bazar and buying the used Nike for 2k. But you can not whine that Nike is very expensive, they're butchering around... Thanks

police foundation works for you?have a mechanic+denter in that area i trust.,,,for painter you can request the denter which one currently is better in the market.its a car markey and many painters around

Dear Brother, first of first, as a business person, I don't think it suits you call someone a person of stone age. Judging their knowledge level Or to give example of Landa Bazar.

Now coming to the point, the reason of this thread was to evaluate my options. I did contact you and you gave me estimate. I have every right to check pricing and other options. Whenever there's a thread of Isb Rwp, your workshop is the first mention. So I did clear that estimate is taken. And I am looking at something less expensive. Nowhere did I mention that you are overcharging. Your craftsmanship cost is higher than what I'm willing to pay. Especially for this engine. Simple as that. I would have happily gone for premium work on my other ride civic 15.

It was so obviously mentioned in the OP and in the comments but you choose to jump in (ill informed by sm1?) thinking its a defamation and started with stone age and stuff lol.

Also just so you know, between 2k used and 86k new Nike, there are lot of other options and in new. You don't have to have Nike under your shoes. I didn't whine that your nike is expensive than my bata

That's what I created this thread for. Most of them are claiming 40-45k if its complete rebuild. On top, they say I can buy parts for myself. That 45 to 90k price variation got me curious. I'll explore more. Thank you

You should have some manners how to put your thread right. Why are you mentioning me in your threads main topic? If the price or estimate is higher you could have written your problems above and then if any user was mentioning us, you could have clearly said that they're offering a superior quality rebuild which is something I don't want for my car and want to explore any other options. This would have been very kind of you. This is how topics are opened and information is shared. No one is forcing you to come to us sir. You've highlighted my name for no reason on the main heading of your problem as if trying to defame. This is not right. You should either get your topic edited and remove my name out of it. And mention in the comments, if you've taken estimate from us. You've right to share it in comments if you want to.

My example if felt offensive then I'm apologetic but please do not enlist someone in the headline of your topic, it seems as if it's either a complain or a defamatory campaign...

When was the last time u got any kind of work on your car ? i m sure you are in for a shocker if you go and get the latest rates of parts from market. Any anyone quoting 40-50k for a rebuild is BILLION percent fooling you. A recent thread of a guy rebuilding his Platz in Faisalabad is going to end up spending around 130 - 150 k on his car, and thats how much it is costing. You may for sure spend only 10k, but my point is that is gonna land u in the middle of nowhere very soon God Forbid

Cars, Weapons and Printers : i STRONGLY believe they have a mind of their own if you dont spend on them or take care of them, they have the tendency to fail when you need them the most

Cars: Will fail in the middle of a desert, not outside your house
Weapon: Will fail when enemy is at the gate, not when you are targetting water bottles
Printer: Will fail when boss is screaming on the phone for that annual report, not when you are printing car sketches for your kids to colour

but then, thats just me Hope u end up spending wisely, wherever it is

But I believe the context was wrongly taken or i might have used better wordings. There have been threads in the past where businesses are directly mentioned in the OP as well as comment, so I dont think I did something which is not part of manners.my tone might have got bit offensive after their comments.

These are the prices I got from several mechanics in last 2 weeks (I got this car 4 week back)

This car will be my daily drive so yes, I am not willing to cheap out and exploring my options for best value for money.
