ahh!! i SEE!!! all the more reason to get this roof rack made...
@reezvan...maybe if u can get a quote, we can order one n i can drop by on a weekend n pick the rack from u n head back to isb:P maybe even take a seat out from the car just so i have something to put on it:P ROAD TRIP!!! XD

nmshaikh...Travel light is something we learnt the hard way...my roof is pretty knackered!! im gonna take her in for a respray soon... sticker patches do make sense... and thanks for getting some!! those would come in handy!!!

and yes stand off pins do make sense...i personally dont like slotted decklids so anything to get around that:P

So we left Rama

bought fuel from Astore

and were on our way thru the rugged yet beautiful mountains with a gray yet awe inspiring river flowing thru them!

and we came across a bridge!!! so empty were our lives that we decided, to photograph it!! afterall, how often do u see..."a bridge"???

so i was dropped off at this side of the bridge...umm where i am standing...with the camera...

and the bug went here...to where u see it...

and she finally came across!!

perfect vw picture...great stance...rack up top...and an idiot in a cow boy hat!!

and no the lights arent on cuz we were "too cool"...they are on cuz...well lowers voice almost to a mumble the switch got stuck

i fixed it tho!!!voice all high again...loosened the switch a little with one complete counter clockwise rotation and it turned them off perfectly!!

the road turns to this 8-10km short of raikot...rattling every thing including our bones...

we see some amusing vehicles...

and at raikot, the man who guarded the bug while we were at fairy meadows(right) and our jeep driver(center), hop right out onto the road to meet us...we gladly get a picture taken with him...

we leave tomorrow for the much awaited babusar pass...but first, i think i should share some pics from the other camera which i just got hold of and well...they tell a little more of the trip...
