@reezvaan, well the tires held up pretty well actually...as u can see, we were carrying 2 spares which shows how sure we were of the tire:P but that was partly due to the nature of the trip and the road condition...not a single puncture and reasonable grip too...the tire being a 65 profile does drop the ride height significantly and that is pretty much the only problem i have had with these tires having upgraded from the cross ply general... having said that, while it does perform better than crossply and does grip more, it does not do so as good as the alternate nexen tires which are the right size too...165,80,15...but a price difference of 2000 each vs 4800 each(when i got these 6-8 months ago) is pretty significant in my view...

LOOOOOOOVE THE THREAD.
U guys have made us all wondering.
I know VW is an excellent machine.
Used to had one 1970 London model
& it can do wonders which others can't even think of.
The magic is in its big tyres & coil springs, it is very comfortable for long run
& above all the gear ratio gives it excellent boost in low speed.

This thread will keep PW's glued.
