Sorry for "Hijacking" the topic guys but since we are talking "Slamming" (Original term used being 'body drop'), just thought to share my two cents worth.
First of all, slamming on Pakistan roads is a BIG NO! (may be with a little margin to slam the car, can be thought of, but a total body drop is a NO!!)
We all know that bugs can be dropped at rear by adjustment of the spring plates.
Lets talk a little about slamming the bug at the front. I would go as far as I think its sane to slam the bug. Sure there are other means utilizing which you can slam your cars even beyond the level I am going to talk about, but since further slamming doesn't sound sane to me thus I would keep to the "beam adjusters".
The easiest way to slam a bug front by 3 to 4 inches without doing much changes to the stock setup is known by means of "adjustable beams" or say by fitting "adjusters" on the torsion housings on the beam.
I personally think this is the farthest one should go here in Pakistan, i.e. drop by 3 to 4 inches (without having to change the front shocks/spindles - thus easily reversible).
Once the "adjusters" are fitted on the torsion housing, the adjusters then can be used to rotate the "torsion leafs" inside the housing, both upwards and downwards, making droping/racking possible. While the adjuster screws keep the torsion leafs' centres gripped and keep them from rotating from the point originally desired. Questions? Just ask.
Going beyond this kind of slam isn't adviseable for Pakistan roads. My two cents worth.
