Day 3:
night was at Raja Sahib's hujra. He served us with local SAAG, SONCHAL SAAG and rice and MAKAI ki ROOTI... very delecious...
in morning, our trek starts.
our plan is to cross DIRR gali and reach kalam region. though every one knew this route but no one was there who actually has done this... Mr. Raja Taj Mohammad assured us that he will arrange some one who know the route for us from jahaz banda. from jandari, Nawab and one another kamosh mujahid were our guides or porters or what ever you can say.. both were very helpful and kind. guided us straight to jahz banda. we reached jahaz banda in 5 hours and it was a bit tough. take rest at chimreen cottage at jahaz banda, some snacks and tea and than we rushed towards katora lake.
we were having limited number of days like always, so, tried to make it in the same day, however, rain forbid us not to go further ahead along with darkness as we left chimreen cottage at 3 o clock and at about 5 o clock we were stuck in rain and wind at lower jahaz dand lake. couldnt reach main katora lake. Anyways, Nawab our guide told us that katora lake will be visible from top next day. so we retreated back to chimreen cottage. While coming back, bought a small lamb of 3500 PKR and enjoyed the dinner very much. saving little less than half for next day.
