I could not find any forum on DFSK Glory 580 so making one
here.

Please share your experience, observations, suggestions, tips
or anything related to your DFSK Glory 580 or 580 Pro.

I bought DFSK Glory 580 Pro recently, Grey Metallic and I am
loving it. I must say that you get A LOT considering the amount of money you
spend buying it.

I can assure you that it definitely is value for money.

From where did you book and bought the Glory pro? Do you know where is their dealer in Karachi? Also how much you had to wait to get the delivery?

Dear Alls,

I have booked a Glory from Gujrat and get the tentative delivery date of July-21...I like built quality of car, although now a days glory is assembled in Pakistan...I found some pit marks in the paint and highlighted it for further improvement...
I have selected two colors.

1- Gray Mattlic
2- White

DFSK Glory mini review

Many of my friends were waiting for me to give my opinion on the Glory 580 Pro and here is a brief account of that. Since I have come from JDMs for the past decade and half so I can only compare them with Japanese Cars I have and at the moment and the ones I used to have. So without any delay here it is.

Good things first.

• Excellent build quality and finish.

• Very comfortable seats and these give very good support to body
  during travel. Less fatigue to back and legs due to ergonomic design.

• Cabin is very well sealed and very little engine and outside noise.

• Excellent suspension and very smooth drive even on bumpy roads.

• Very good ground clearance overall. No issue what so ever.

• Steering very responsive and light. Head lights are very bright and they illuminate the road very well.

• Engine is solid and the pick of the car is adequate. 1.5 with turbo makes up for the 1500cc engine and runs the car very well with enough power.

• Value for money and very competitive price

• Since this is a 7 Seater so it has absolutely no competition in market in this price range.

Things which need fixing.

• Multimedia is way below average coupled with average quality of speakers and sound stage. Head unit very buggy and slow.

• Audio doesn't have memory and starts radio at high volume which is really very annoying..

• There is a lot of Volume difference between radio play back and media play back from USB or Bluetooth. You have to crank up the volume a lot while playing media other than radio. Switching to radio after media the sound is 3 to 4 times louder which is very annoying.

• Volume knobs on steering wheel get stuck and don't work is you use volume knobs near the gear shift in central Panel

• No audio customization while playing audio and you have exit audio to change audio settings which makes absolutely no sense.

• While skipping song list from USB the player gets stuck and keeps playing the first 2 songs of every folder. It plays all songs if you play songs without skipping. It's really strange.

• Bluetooth audio is of very poor quality. Bluetooth 5.1 has much higher bit rate and has excellent quality sound but this seems to be very old version with very low bit rate

• Floating LCD is not horizontal. Left side is higher than the right. Similarly the hole in the dashboard for LCD has uneven space on either side of LCD

• Brake is very soft and needs a lot of foot pressure to stop the car. Pedal travels almost at mid to start working. May be is needs adjustment or is built like this. You will feel this more if you are coming from Toyota and Honda JDMs

• Brakes are not very effective even after pressing the pedal. hard and makes the driver feel unsafe and unsure. Once you get used to it the brakes work well and are quite effective.

• There's a strange vibration in the car when you accelerate gently from stand still to around 30km per hour. It goes away after that.

• Steering wheel isn't centered even after getting the alignment done at service center and there's still 2 to 3 degrees tilt to the right. I guess wheel alignment wasn’t done before sending the car to showroom

• Frustratingly the total and current driving average is missing in dashboard which was there in previous model. Not sure if its a different meter from Glory 580 or it has been omitted intentionally fro the display panel

• Very high side door panels and door opening handle is very high in driving seat and very very high in back seat. It looks very ridiculous that the window is at your ear level and you have to reach the door handle at your face level. Rear seat visibility also blocked by door panel.

• The AC fan/blower makes a lot of boxy sound and yet the air throw is weak. The rear seats vents have even more weaker throw.

• The door closing give off a very hard sound more so in the rear doors.

• The trunk opening give off a loud motor sound throughout its movement range and give a cheap overall feel.

Every piece of machine has it pros and Cons and nothing is perfect. When it come to value of the car we also consider the amount of money you spend on it. Overall the car is excellent and these glitches can be fixed. Head unit can have a firmware upgrade to address software issues. a little more vigilant quality control and review of manufacturing process will get rid of small quality issues. As far as my opinion goes .....Highly Recommended and worth every penny.

The biggest 3S showroom is Prince Automine Main Korangi Road Opposite Mehran Spices.

From this well written review I guess its build quality is good with a number of problems though (which can be irritating for some owners). And drive is also good keeping brakes and A/C issues aside (which seem to be again quite irritating) .

Engine and transmission are Chinese made?

I also noticed the design flaw of rear doors windows, which are not designed in mind rear passenger sitting position, when sitting in back seats, strange design looks beautiful but not user friendly.

overall the cons you highlighted major problem seems like in Audio system buttons & volume settings, screen miss align but there's some other feels major problems like drive train vibration, steering center alignment and braking system which is very important function in every vehicle.

Fuel average information missed...why??? when TMPS is also giving.

Car build quality feels nice & impressive but we cannot exactly says about new vehicle overall reliability.
