Which fuel is best for DFSK Glory 580 pro .. Normal or Hi-Octane???

Don't increase plug gap beyond 0.85 mm. I'm sending you number of whatsapp group admin in PM. Just send him a message on WhatsApp alongwith your Glory ownership proof and he'll add you. We have DFSK Top management also un that group and they address all the issues/problems

AOA to all, I am looking for a 7-seater and Glory 580 pro is one of the options in my consideration. I have a couple of questions, if the owners can please comment and share their insights I'll be very grateful.

1. How is durability? Is the vehicle suitable for rough roads on the interior sides of our country?
2. Fuel average? Please share realistic figures.
3. Headlight output? Considering my travel includes B roads along with highways and motorways, how is the light output? Can a member please share a small video maybe or some pictures of the high and low beam?

I bought a Glory 580 pro delivered in September 2022. It had brake issue. After my complaint they bled the lines to remove air and then it worked OK. Then engine was missing sometimes. On routine service they tightened cable joint, so no problem.
Being satisfied with it's pickup, 7 seats and other features, I booked another glory 580 pro.
Then it's seal on turbo pipe leaked. This was surely workmanship issue, like the brake issue. For replacing dealership charged Rs4,000 instead of being apologetic for the leak. They blamed the leak on my Castrol GTX Magnetic oil.
The fuel consumption with original engine oil was less than 7 Km per litre in Lahore City. After oil change with Castrol GTX Magnetic Oil it is above 8 Km per litre in Lahore City. On highway and motorway going to Bahawalpur and back, it was above 11 Km per litre with speed above 120 Km on motorway.
Compared with Toyota Corolla 1.8L CVT and Honda BRV CVT which we have for over four years, the downside is only more fuel consumption.
Comparing with Fortuner petrol and Diesel it's fuel consumption is better than our petrol version. But then if you are not off-roading in desert, it is any time more comfortable. Easy to get in and out.
Anyway, overall it is value for money.

Car could have been decent from the factory but sadly all the issues you mentioned mean one has to spend at least 5 lacs more to make it a good and fun drive.

One issue you didn’t cover is, if the car ever gets into an accident, or some parts get stolen, what will the owner do?

Will the car stay in garage for months to years?

Not at all bro. I was with the author during many of these upgrades. Plugs cost me 12k. Sold old ones for 5k. Oil is either way paid but liqui moly will cost less cuz it runs more than other oils and much better in quality. Brake fluid only cost around 4 or 5k. Lubes for brakes almost 5k. And trust me both our cars are in perfect condition. I get avg of 12 to 13 in Islamabad and pindi.

I totally agree with the review. I want to mention here I personally know the author and whatever he has stated is 110% factually correct as I was with him during many of these upgrades. He has helped me and many others and his guidance has actually helped unlocked the true potential of this car and his comprehensive knowledge has also made us make the car even better.

I was already more than satisfied with this vehicle but the author's help made my vehicle a proper beast now. On normal.mode i get an average of approximately 12 to 13 in Islamabad and rawalpindi combined. As of now my car has no issues whatsoever and perfect in every regard.

At the end i wanna thank you for your constant guidance and help and also encourage others to use this vehicle because trust me as an owner of multiple vehicles of different brands of honda and Toyota this car to me is the best value car in Pakistan.

You didn’t answer about parts or support.

What if any of the parts get stolen or get into an accident?

Eg headlights n taillights, bumpers, side mirrors

I think this isn't the right time to ask for parts. Unfortunately even big 3 dealerships don't have basic everday use parts these days.
Let this import restriction get relaxed. Only then would be the right time to get feedback on parts
