Dear Muhammad Alee
I have visited patriata , bhurban and murree in it and I have found that it is stronger than corolla 1.3 2007 -2008 model which i also have . I have brv manual which is better than cvt because cvt can get damaged easily. however if honda had been selling brv with normal automatic, then i would have purchased it as normal automatic gears are tough.
but please remember that normal automatic gears eat up minimum 12% engine power (reduction) and cvt reduces 18 % plus.
had I purchased brv cvt i would have certainly faced problem while going to patriata with full load of 7 persons plus luggage.
My car however failed to climb at one incline but my tires were slipping and i reversed and then raced up . but next time on this incline i took the wide turn with no problem as the other cars were doing.
Regarding climb from Chilas to Babusar top, my old car toyota 1.3 had a lot of difficulty doing it with full load of 5 persons plus luggage. I thanked god when i reached the top.
Also there is problem of low oxygen pressure which is another reason why the cars don't climb up easily. For my reply to your question, you will have to wait till August as that is when I will visit Hunza and only then can i truly answer your question, because this is the main point which tests your cars engine power fully.
please note that brv has a special engine with low gearing so basically this is the main reason for its good pick. it goes from 0 to 100 in 10 seconds.
but if you don't have a large family (5 persons or more) then go for yaris
my milage of manual brv was around 13.75 km per litre from visiting murree. driving speed was from 100 to 120. for best milage you have to use the 6th gear. so if you have a large family then definitely go for brv, otherwise you don't need to. but after driving brv , even if i didn't have a large family , i think i would have still purchased it. it gives you full utility. it has a light steering and abs brakes even in the manual.
however i missed CRUISE CONTROL as on long distance this would have helped in maintaining car speed, and person would have been more relaxed. but mostly in manual cars cruise control is not available. Also manual does not have immobilizer. but i think and also talking with the honda staff i have come to know that immobilizer causes problems and your own car sometimes does not start.
i am a family man and i needed a car which did not have any problems. So if you have a large family or you sometimes need to carry more persons than go for it definitely and you will be well satisfied
