Specs of Glory are better as 147 ps at just 2000 rpm is produced vs Honda Turbo which produce 173 ps at 5500 rpm. Torque figures of Glory are also very impressive

Sincere advice, don't blindly believe in what you read.

Glory 580 1.8 is 130 HP, while Glory 580 1.5 turbo is 147HP.

Yet, 1.5 Turbo gets stuck on hills/climbs if you stop. Despite having more HP on paper. You need someone to tow it forward. It won't move.

So, it's not just that simple of a comparison. Other things also matter:

1. Transmission
2. Weight

1.5 turbo has serious issues if you can't keep up the momentum on a climb. Whether the issue is in transmission or engine, not sure.

BTW civic is also 1200 kg vs 1500 kg for Glory. Gross weight 2000 kg for Glory.

Civic overall has more HP too, much more snappier and faster. 0-100 in about 7.5 seconds, vs 14+ seconds for Glory.

Guys the peak HP figure is somewhat overrated. Its the torque curve overall that matters in the performance of the car. In the daily usage one may seldom reach the peak HP rpm while driving however if the torque curve has more area under its curve, the engine/vehicle will be responsive.

Saw a Glory recently with full load climbing towards naran. I could not see it struggling while I was in Civic X. It was doing a fine job.

I dont know what kind of mango claim is this that this car doesnt climb slopes.

Where this turbo lag does it’s worse, is on the inclines. The Glory 580 will take you up an incline without breaking a sweat only if you are running on momentum. If you happen to slow down on the incline the car quickly loses torque and comes to a halt altogether. Getting a move on isn’t exactly easy either. The turbo lag is so long that the car goes completely out of breath as it barely picks up the speed it needs. Even veteran drivers will need aid from the ol’ trusty hand brake and will have to administer the clutch and gas pedal balance maneuver to come out on top. This becomes especially tedious, not to mention dangerous when there’s another vehicle honking behind you.

Was myself interested in 580 Pro, but seems like the turbo lag is an issue with this engine so might be a problem if traveling in area with steep hills.

There is turbo lag in this vehicle which can make it sluggish for a while. With air conditioning, the Glory 580 provides 11 km per liter in the city and 12 km per liter on the highway.

Alsvin coming out this Friday boys... 1.5 dual clutch auto with 124hp, its gonna beat the crap out of 580 on inclines (although I can understand why people would chose it because it's a different class)... and top of the line model is expected to cost 2.4m
Changan has largely been present in pak for a long time now, and I would probably trust them over DFSK, although 580 pro cant say much, hav heard really good things about it
