Dheri Rakala is Fantastic Place in North East Edge of ICT. It is about 5,000 feet above sea-level.
Basically it is Margalla Hills 1st hiking Track from East Side.
Just 13-15 Km Away from Murree and 8-9 Km from Lora Hazara (North West), same as Neela Bhota (7-8Km) in South West.
In winter season a Penalty of Snow Fall on top.

It is Almost 32Km Away from Zero Point Kashmir Highway (Islamabad)

1st Approaching toward Bhara Kho (12Km) -----> Near Point is Chattar Park (10Km).
After 1.5Km drive you have left Turn and Sign Board of Baroha Chowk.
Baroha Chowk ---> Judicial Town (left side) OGDCL Town (Right side) Chattar Nulla Bridge ---> approaching towards
Neem Derra after Drive of 3-4Km U got Y Cross take Right Hand Road Lead to U Top on Margalla Hills (Dheri Rakala).

Road is Single Gauge metal Road. Its has almost 25 Sharp Dangerous Turn till reaching on Top. As compare to Pir Sohawa Road, Murree Road , Ban Korar Road Difficult in Driving.

Fantastic Rock Formations Viewing Golf City Bahria Town, Sights & Seens of Murree as well ICT

I visited Dheri Rukala village on Sunday, 30-11-2014. Route was From Old Murree Road. Reached Baroha Chowk. Took Left Turn towards Margallah Hills. Crossed Judicial Town. A beautiful Bridge at Nullah Crossing Reached a Y cross. Took right road. and moved on negotiating sharp turn plus steep ascend. Most of the road is now carable. We used Suzuki Cultus car... Drove with caution.. and reached right in the village, where a Hiace van, an ALto and Mehran were already parked. Offered Zohar Prayer in nearby Mosque. Explore the area briefly and took return journey. Road till the village is complete however small portions need some attention. From this village one can reach Pharilla Rest House or Lora - Ghoragali Road on foot or by using Jeep.
