Need help from Fellow PWers Car Audio Experts

Have got myself Diamond Audio Components Pics attached for reference.. These Probably one of the best components ever made..

Running them on Original American JBL 4 channel amplifier

Not getting the sound quality.. Please help with your suggestion on a good pre CD, cables whatever it take..

These dont even come near the best components ever made or even other high end components. For getting good sound, a good install along with quality stuff is a must. We can give you better suggestions if you list down a budget. Also let us know if you can source stuff from US as that would be a major help. My advice would be to get a better component system and start from there

As per the reviews and ratings.. I found them the best..

my options were:

Bouston Acoustics
Infinity Kappa
DIamond Audio

Can you please name some top brands for my knowledge. I have couple of friends coming over in November.. can bring in stuff from USA..

Budget is not an issue and also I am in Lahore every month...

Also, I am not into woofers and heavy bass.. need top quality sound... which I have experienced only with these previously.. but since i removed them from my previous car.. never got them to sound right...

on ebay they are selling used for USD 250 plus..

These components are available for around $100 used on international forums. Even if they are for $250 that is not high end category, let alone 'best ever components'. Your components along with Infinity Kappas can be classified as lower-mid end components at best. Some of the best ever components include Focal Utopia ($4,000), Morel Supremo ($2,000-$3,000), Rainbow Platinum ($3500). Then best Amplifiers also includes names such as Audison Thesis ($5000+ if I remember correctly), Tru, Mosconi, Adcom etc.

'Budget being not an issue' is a restrictive term. If you can give a figure you would get better suggestions. If its really not an issue then choose either Utopia or Supremo, get a Morel Ultimo sub, Audison Thesis Amp, Alpine H800 processor, Alpine 910 HU, Stinger wiring

Those are the crossover models mate, not the component set model. The model mentioned by mani1 is correct.

they appear to be some older model sets from diamond, i am trying to locate the models for these specific sets, will get back to you. these are definitely not hex h600 or hex h500 or hex h600 pro which are higher end speakers.

take a picture of the midbass speaker from an angle which shows where the speaker wires connect and post it

Bro i think we met at sunny's shop and u demoed my system. U need sound deadening and a better player as i told u that day. U need a good install too.
