I can list down my repair list and procedure for a toyota 2C when it came to my shop.
parts
timing belt
rollers
tensioner roller
water pump
pulley seals
valve seals
(flush cooling system if required)
change coolant
change thermostat
the belt job was usual but I also unbolted the injection pump to replace the water pump, I also would check valve clearances and adjust as required by removing the camshaft.
unbolt everything and put aside to get to belt, unbolt injection pump lines and injection pump, unbolt water pump after draining coolant.
unbolt cam cover/vacuum pump
unbolt camshaft
assemble valve depressing crane on head
replace valve seals in cyl pairs of 1-4 and 2-3, by rotating crank to tdc1 and tdc2 respectively
reassemble camshaft with new pulley seal and install pulley
replace crank pulley seal
reassemble water pump with new pump
install injection pump and pipes (left loose)
install timing belt and rollers by procedure and marking
install covers and main pulley
use counterholder tool on pulley to tighten main bolt
install belts - tension properly
install timing pump timing tool - adjust to spec, lock down pump
tighten injection pipes
install cam cover/vacuum pump
fill new coolant,
prime fuel system
start engine
burp air out
test for leaks
close job.
hand keys to customer.
