alarming .. but still i suggest remove belts and check for fractures @homeboy shogun past week belts were visibly GOOD , when removed all were having cross & linear fractures
All belts (timing and drive) along with the fan clutch were replaced a month ago.
now thats' alarming & something which need attention without delay
I changed all the belts and examined the cam seals . Only one needed replacement and the rest 3 were fine. Didn't change the tensioner .... Will source one from Dubai as won't be possible to source an original one from here. Tensioner is not causing any sound or issues so I will get it checked in next 40K KM.
Guyz.... I today compared my 2d saloon 2009 with the same model..... My mileage is hugh and he has low mileage.... two things i encounter.1. At starting of engine. His car has a smoke.... But in my case there was a no smoke at all.2. When we put our foot off the padel at gear. His car gave a good jerk(jhatka) but my car has little one... He said teri gari k engine m zor ne.. what to do for these two things?
Ur car is ok. don't mess with anything. if ur engine doesn't have zor, you will barely touch 70 km/hr speed with full accelerator. If this is not the case, then ignore what people say.
Use a can of diesel purge in the fuel system.
My car easily goes to 140kmph

AoA. I recently bought a 3 door prado 1990 model. It has 5L diesel engine. After few days i noticed a smoke coming out of a blowby pipe. I live in Kashmir so here are very few mechanics. I visited one of them and he told me that the engine is weak. He suggested me for an overhaul. What you guys suggest?
