Sir another query i am planning to do the valve seals on my car a 2c . I searched a bit online i came across 2 tool choices i am attaching the pics could you let me know which will be most appropriate to get .

dear i did ask and they say we purchase it from faislabad ,,,,,, any how i did find it very easy and cheap from aliexpress ,,,,,,,, at present i desperately need plastigauge to measure crankshaft journal oil clearance,,, any idea from where i can get it ,,, its not even available on aliexpress and ebay/amazon wont ship to pak ,,,,,,,,

What's your take on Oil catch cans and prefilters?

Sir should i go with the pliers type seal removal tool or the slode hammer type

Any type which you like.

You can modify a needle nose pliers for this job too. You can use just needle nose pliers to pull them, if you are working on a follower bucket type cyl head, you can cut a piece of yogurt cup and make a sleeve for the bore so you dont accidently score it.

Thanks for the advice sir inshallah will do this and update here on the forum. I had a thought about scoring the valve well walls nice idea about using the yougurt pack as a cushion or if i go the slide hammer style tool route i will probaly drill out a centring plate for the tooll. Hopefully will get cracking at it once the valve stem seals arrive

Quite useful and i guess so kinda necessary. And personally i liked the concept of having air pre filter on the cars much more filter element life and less moths i jave to pick out of the air filter

Sir is this for the valve stem seals ?

when installing seals, two steps are paramount.

insert the valve first, then push a plastic drinking straw over the valve stem, then slide the oiled up seal on - once the seal is past the valve collet grooves - remove the straw and dont remove the valve at all, use a deep socket (like a 3/8 or similar) or a small piece of pipe so it sits perfectly outside of the seal and push it all the way then tap it in with a hammer till you "feel" and "hear" the seal, guide and head ring in unison (like installing a bearing race)

These steps are critical for maximum valve seal life.

also make sure no burrs or shrapnel is stuck on the guide necks which can tear the inner rubber of the seal and try to find viton or teflon lip valve seals - they work better but do not survive mishandling (they are only installed with the procedure I wrote above)

Thanks sir for the info this really made my like easier . As for the seals i ordered the genuine seals from japan impex along with new washers

Will look though for ptfe or viton ones

I know that the common rail is a different technology but what is the difference between mechanical and efi pumps?? Are there injectors inside efi pump?
Which is better among them?

Sir i forgot to ask earlier do we need to put a thread sealer on the nozzle holder threads and the glow plig threads.

If diesel has ve pump with electronic control, the volume and injection advance is electric control on pump, from ecu/dcu/decu

No. The injectors are put in dry with clean threads but with new sealing rings.

The glow plugs take a dab of copper and ceramic antisieze if thr plugs are super long and are known to sieze
