2.80mm shim i find from malik auto gawalmandi RWP ,,,,,,,,famous shop you can easily find ,,,,,and 2.50mm i find from ijaz autos sadar near hathi chowk ,,,,,,3mm was available at kiyani autos gawalmandi rwp ,,,,,,,,
and i met another customer at ijaz autos who was buying some parts ,,, he told me that there is a shop at koyla center sadar who sell grinded shims ,,,,,, he can custom make shims ,,,,,,,i dont recommend to buy those grinded shims but i am sure he also have some original one waiting for there turn to be grinded ,,,,,,,

Thanks sir such detailed account. Inshallah will visit these shops i will measure the clearances on the weekend and hopefully i can get these shims locally. I know about the grinded shims i was offered those by another workshop here but i refused as i have read zulfiqar sb account and have refrained from them . Could you give me a idea what were the prices for each shim

The little sealing washers on them.

Make sure that they all pop within 10 or 20 psi of each other, otherwise the engine will run lumpy.

Sir today i went for injector nozzle replacement.before doing anything the lab wala said that engine ki awaz barh jae gi 4-500 kms bad set ho jae gi..
Is he right?

the nozzles set in after 500 kms - thats why they are adjusted slightly higher than normal pressure - ask the shop owner what pressure he will set all nozzles to - before handing him over the injectors.

about right, they should settle at 130 or so. - make sure they are all even popping, then adjust the pump timing.

btw - why the need for nozzles?

Its driven around 160k and i am noticing a bit of knocking above idle.should i ask him to adjust at 135??

CSD is working
Its at its original timing mark but not timed with the dial gauge after the T belt change..

but the manual say 2062-2205 psi ,,,,, in bar it will be 142 to 152 bar ,,,,, what you will say about that ,,,,,,,

Replaced the nozzles today
All injectors are now popping at 140 bar
Smoke is almost gone
But now the marbley sound is increased a bit..diesel wala said it would reduce after some time
