Gdi engines suffer from this coking this is why using specific bmw rated oils are required.

Its not that complex to do and is done at 80,000 kms intervals usually.

Non GDI engine ports remains clean as petrol washes of built up from ports and valves

I know but with these newer egr setups and even on high mileage engines things get to get gunky

there is no way you can get badly gunked up with port injected engine regardless if it has EGR etc.

Hey guys. This is the only active Diesel thread on Pakwheels so I'm gonna ask my question here. What is the assessment of a Nissan TD27 engine which comes in 1990s Pathfinders and D21 Pickups?
Are the parts easily available in the market?
What alternates are available if one needs to swap the engine out?

complete engine overhaul parts are available ,,,,,,,,batter rebuilt it instead of swapping toyota engine in it ,,,,,,,,SD25 or QD32 can be swapped without any alternation as both can mate with its trans ,,,,,,,,,, batter stick to TD27 as its parts readily available ,,, most of nissan pickup or pathfinders here comes with TD27 ,,,,

2nd wire is Ground.. with one wire sensor body is ground

the other wire in the wiring harness is just a ground, your 1 wire sensor is taking ground from its threading.

Can we replace nozzles on a 1HD-FTE??
My friends land cruiser 2006 is making a little knock and smoke at idle.i am suspecting that nozzles are worn out.I had a talk with local diesel mechanic here but he is saying that nozzles can’t be replaced on this engine.
Car is almost 150k kms driven
