Dear members i have another query. While going for the 200k nozzle replacement is it a good thing to change the springs inside nozzle assembly or leave them be as they are. And the lower nozzle retaining nuts.

No, leave them alone. Only replace them if they are not straight or have broken.

by the way if your nozzles have been adjusted by local diesel lab then before fitting them back check the length of this spring and compare it with workshop manual ,,,,,,, as you know diesel lab ustads adjust pop pressure by adjusting the tension of this spring ,,,,,,by just hammering it out,,,,,,,

I just ordered 4 new springs and pieces from my parts guy. Its not that expensive but piece of mind

Today we did a compression test on a 2001 toyota indus 2c. I am attaching pics of the results we got but . Its an intresting case study for me as the cylider 2 and 3 have pretty good compression but 1 and 4 are way down insighr into it will be much appreciated.

Check valve clearance also did you perform Wet compression test

Bad valves can drop compression

Never try wet test on diesel.

The engine might try to start with that cylinder and ruin your gauge.

Nope i didnt thought the manual states that add a bit of oil to the low compression cylinder and retest but i didnt add oil as saw a straight 6 diesel being tested by some monark techs and they specifically said that not to do a wet test as tolerance are really high in diesels
