these are marks from when this return rail is manufactured, its welding blueing.

how did you remove the coating from it? this part is yellow zinc plated originally.

this pump is for priming the system when you run it out, it has no job once the engine is running.

If your system loses prime after sitting overnight, check for leaks - including return lines from injectors to the return banjo on pump.

Well sir i just came across this while tidying up the engine this pic if of a 2001 indus 2c but i have oserved a similar blueing on my 06 2c as well no clue as to how the coating got removed as its present in spots and yes the rest of the rail is still yellow. I will be taking off the rails in the near future so i can hopefully find some more answers regarding the coating wearing off as currentely i thinks it might be age

Can we recoat it using cold galvanizing sprays etc or does it have some different spec,ed coating as not sure if the cold galvanizing spray would hold

You can make one with a hydraulic jack, these were also available as local made in Pakistan products too.

Sir indeed i can make one i did thought about it but the prob is i consoder it a big hassle as i have to be constantly engaged in it and since my job timings are quite odd so even on weekemd i tend to be quite indisposed mostly so a ready made tool would be very helpful i have asked a couple of people in diesel labs i know if i could borrow theirs for a day when i intend to redo my cars injectors nozzles

it can be lethal or severly injure you too - YES, just using it and not heeding care can make you lose a finger or cause explosion.

Yes sir i do have a lil experience (limited hands experience) just out of curiosity once used it a diesel repair shop. Plus what what i have gathered online is that the fittings should be proper etc the only reason i am looking into getting one is cause the ustaads tend to get easily frustrated.

thats good that you know how to use it, atomized diesel fuel is explosive and fuel under pressure can get into your skin - this is why almost all diesel shops in Pakistan has mechanics with missing fingers.

In Khi - these were sold at lawrence rd machine market, the local made in gujranwala ones were ok too. Proper steel fittings etc.

its very easy to make at home ,,,,,,, i am sure you do have some spare old bottle jack at home,,,,use it to make a nozzle tester ,,,,,,
or if you are in islamabad then you can use my nozzle tester ,,,, or send me the nozzles i can fine tune them ,,,,,,,,

no dear this one is for single spring mechanical injector ,,,,,, i think you need to check the 2-spring mechanical injectors ,,,,,,,,if you have any literature of your injectors then share with me ,,,,, may be we can do it ,,,,

to test the 2 stage injectors you need the service tool to block the primary spring in the injector body.

Since zulfiqar sir mentioned you need a sst why not you get the required sst tool and get things done cause in pak there is a disconnect between good mechanics and people so having your own tools is a bonus. And this is me saying this after getting a proper feeler guage and even in most good workshops people are running around to find one.
