Was about 40 usd a friend picked it from abroad and brought it here. Worked pretty well the adapters were a tad bit less durable so for cheap insurance got them copied into better stainless steel fittings waiting on them to arrive soon. I am from rawalpindi

Let me propose a solution that mighr be useful and the once i have tried.

You can get harris high vacumm grease its a silicone grease that can be applied to sunroof channels about 250 rs 85gsm last i bought it marketed by harris silicones lhr

Liquimoly silicone or crc silicone spray both of the have much much more durable films they tend to last longer.

Dow corning makes a silicone grease easily available about 3k a piece

Toyota parts central published a product a genuine toyota red rubber grease a while ago also.mentioned in one of my posts on the grease forum. About 1600 a tube

Molykote 111 is also a silicone grease not used personally but alot of people recommend it

You can look into these options ideally and make decision based on your budget

Harris silicones sell silicone grease, sloan lubes in epz sell silicone grease good for brake use and also home plumbing.

But sunroof require a silicone or plastic grease with teflon additized.

Visit audi dealer parts and ask for it.

This thread is very helpful for learning about diesel engines. I created a new post about Charade consuming too much diesel. I'm requesting the senior experts to take a look, and here's the summary of problem:

Charade CL50 diesel turbo engine is consuming 9.5 liters fuel per 100 kilometers (around 10km/L) with very economical driving style. It's also emitting too much black smoke at high RPM but just fine at low revs.

What should we do to improve fuel economy to at least 17 - 18 kmpl in moderate city traffic? Otherwise it's running good, never stalled or felt under-powered in regular conditions.

Make sure valve clearance is good and engine is reaching optimum temperature (temp guage in middle)
A good tuned diesel charade can do 20+km/l

I think his pump and injectors are trashed

Actually engine was overheating, despite direct fan connection, the temp gauge would always stay in the middle and it begins to overheat when the car's speed exceeds 70 km/h for more than 5 minutes and goes back to normal after slowing down. It's another problem which could be due to clogged radiator.

Anyway do you know any good diesel technician in Rawalpindi?

Thank you @Xulfiqar sir! I asked a local mechanic and he said the same thing that injector and pump service needed. But what about poor warm starting? We checked the glow plugs and they were working fine otherwise cold starting would've become very hard since its battery is also in very bad condition.
And one last thing I forgot to mention; the previous owner had removed this prime or lift pump from the engine and we drove it without any filter with mechanical fuel pump directly sucking diesel out of old rusty tank. Now it's got a prime pump with new filter, could this be the reason of trashing the pump and injectors?

I wanted to ask about a thing i observed today while working on my car the injector return pipes had a blue tint on them normally seen on metals that gets really hot i am attaching a picture for refrence. Please let me know if its normal or sonething that needs to be taken care of
