Water doesnt wash away the diesel and cheeku cheeku goes away but comes back with louder cheeku cheeku.

I once lent my car to someone and to pay the favor of using the car, he got the car washed at the service station and he gladly told me, ”I asked them to spray diesel to clean the dirt off the engine bay.”

Well, that didn't certainly go well, in the next few days I noticed that the factory tapping were wearing off and some were already hanging.

Where is the fun in that. If we follow oem specs how can we feed the mechanics. Think of their children bro. You are taking food off their table.
If we try jugaar we have to visit a mechanic 5 times and pay 400 rs each time. If we do it correctly it costs 1500 one time and thats just too much man.

Diesel spray is not recommended at all please don’t let the illiterate serviceman pitch u just for a few hundred rupees. A single wash with diesel may or may not cause any trouble but making it a practice will ultimately cause some damage and yes if a thing is not recommended by manufacturer why take a risk just for a day or 2 i am sure it is only this days that its effect lasts.

I have owned a city since 2016, first owner. Never sprayed the diesel underneath the car. Once or maybe at max twice an year i have jacked the car for under body wash, which i personally think is useless. The underbody is meant to take all the dust from road what's the fun in cleaning it? Unless you have off road’d on a rainy day. As far as engine bay is concerned: sometime i will share under the hood photos of my city and you guys will know how an under hood looks like that has never been washed for 4 yrs. its a total useless activity and sometimes hazardous for engine and electronics. If you want to get the engine bay cleaned go to some detailing guy and he will do it with degreaser or whatever.

If you notice, chai and paan are available plenty and the local towncriers too who are 2 stages worse than schizophrenic.

i always wash the car by myself with a hose pipe (no fancy power washer) and then vacuum clean the interior. Helps in burning the calories and keep me updated about the latest scratches on body.

have you employed mother nature to wash your car? - all that is needed is an umbrella when its raining, a bucket and a mitt - soap it up and walk away - the rain washes away the soap and the car becomes shiny again - even has the cartoon "ting" sound in the shine.

takes 10 minutes only - I wash all my cars in under half hour this way.

Why use an umbrella? Think of it as a combo deal, wash both yourself and your car.

People give all sorts of funny looks when I do that, people here believe that just rain itself will clean the car nicely.

BTW my 2004 model car still has no squeaks or such, whoever see the underside asks me how I maintain it. I just get it washed with water after rain or once a month.
And that scratches part is so true. Every month you notice new ones, even minor dents as well. Makes you wonder where on Earth should you park to keep it safe from idiots.
