Diesel spray on car after carwash

I have baleno 15 year old and I have two question:

1 - After car wash should i spray oil or diesel underneath ?

2 - After car wash should i wash engine? if not then how can i clean engine area ?

Never use diesel or oil for undercarriage spray.
Use compressed air to clear engine.

Better to avoid water. There are engine degreasers available in market. Just spray them and wipe down engine with cloth.

1) Never ever do this
2) Spray a degreaser on the engine, use a brush to agitate the dirt and then hose off. Give some time for the water to dry. Do not spray water directly or pressure wash it.

after hose off can i do some little spray from bottle and then clean water from dry cloth ?

Buy an All purpose cleaner or degreaser and spray on the engine. Use a brush to soften the dirt and then pour water to remove the dirt (use water in a bottle). Wait for some time to dry completely

Can i use DW 40 instead of degreaser?

i get clean diesel sprayed twice a year
nothing bad happened
no part withered or broke or damaged
frequent use can be damaging though
its easy convenient and stops the squeaks

WD-40 isn't a degreaser but it can be used as such.

If you have squeaks and rattles which are getting hushed after spraying diesel, your rubber parts are already shot/perished.

What you are doing is swelling them up with the diesel, which degrades them even further.

Please stop advocating spraying petroleum distillates under a vehicle,

Its not just rubber bushings, but it will also unstick the undercoating from the vehicle. If you wish to apply something to bead off water, use a proper chassis wax.

The overkill part may be true but what would be the benefit of just twice a year. The diesel would dry up and the squeeks would return pretty soon wouldnt they?

I personally never did any of this diesel spray on any of my own cars in Pakistan. and they never had bushings getting perished or rotting away. Just a pressure washer wand would clean everything nicely.

I however have seen a whole boatload of cars with rotting rubber parts because of "tasalee buksh sarviss - tel/deezal isspray ke saath"

It was good business though - the lemmings would get them replaced and promptly douse them in diesel/oil/grease - and come back every 2 years like clockwork. - Same cars would have the undercoat melting like tar due to the same procedure.

This is useless for suspension issues, its a boundary lube - and the squeaks are originating from bad rubber bushings.

yeh kaisa product ha engine clean karne ke liye agar water and diesel ka use nahi karna ho ?
