Dietary Supplements Banned in Pakistan?

Since most of the dietary supplements in Pakistan are either not authentic or very expensive (GNC) I use to buy different supplements like Whey Proteins, Creatine, citrulline and other stuff like that from USA. Everything was going well until August 2015. But when I ordered some items in September, I got a letter from IMO office Lahore that my package has been detained by customs.
When I went there a few days ago I heard the dreadful news that Govt has issued a new letter and all food/dietary supplements are banned and nobody is allowed to import these even for personal use.

I really don't get this, what is the purpose of this stupid and moronic decision? What I eat is my business, unless I am importing something illegal or dangerous there should be no restriction on things like dietary supplements.

Has anyone else faced the same situation? Any one here who buy supplements from abroad and has been told the same thing by customs?

Yup my Supplement worth 200$ were also detained by those Mothafker . who ever fking idiot stupid put ban on it just tell me him name i very much wanna blow his ars,
Did you try bribe someone to get it release ? I think im gonna try and i will get them.

The terrible thing is they send me letter like they were going to release my package if i visit IMO.When i went there all the way from Gujrat they simply said its ban in Pakistan now what they could have wrote letter but they didn't.
Please let me know if you were able to get your supps by paying bribe or some other way ? I'm trying to bribe them idiots.

my parcel have detained by the customs (imo) gpo Lahore Pakistan. Today I had traveled a 100 km and went to another city. total amount for my parcel is 53.5$
they can't release my parcel. i proved all document but they want same kind of n.o.c paper.
i don't have n.o.c and they don't allow me n.o.c.. i am feeling very shame on Pakistan post custom department.
i am very disappointed for local post processing.
another way is bribery they want 10000 and i am not fool who give him 10000....
if you know another way plz infom me .

Pakistan Post farigh tareen institute ha, bus paisay khanay k bahanay hain aur kuch nahi. Ak banda jo apne personal use k liye supplements mangwa raha ha us se NOC ki demand krna jahalat ki inteha ha. Ya to koi commercial purpose k liye, yahan sale krne k liye mangwaye to phir to baat samjh ati ha, ajeeb hi koi jahil addmi ha jis ne ye naya rule banaya ha.
Is ki koi sense hi nahi banti.
Ab to mauka mil gya post office walon ko, khoob paisay khayen ge, bus logon ko kisi govt institute ne facilitate nahi krna, unhain fzool main tang hi krna ha, yahan pe yehi rule ha.

Brother i am also facing the same situation that i ordered my product from UK like whey protein and many more but custom officers informs me that import of supplements are not allowed.... what the wrong fucking rule is that??????

Sports one is the only authorized supplement store in Pakistan just buy from them you get the same price as if your buying from abroad. They are even listed on optimum nutritions official site as authorized dealers.
