Difference between d15b dual vtec and single vtec?

I met again with that mechanic few min. Ago he was tunning nissan 350 nd rx8. I asked him again said good overhaul will cost 60k plus with original parts. Its better to swap complete setup not just assembly.

No.. i got a idea tomorow i will meet polo electrician people say that he is best electrician of karachi nd fortunatly he is near to me.. so will discuss with him. He can give me better idea what to do.. entire setup will out of my budget as i have to take panga with suspension too. If he will advice me to swap complete setup thn i will wait 1 or 2 months more thn i will def. Go for vtec setup​

It came with complete wiring and ecu.

The problem is that its not turning on vtec at all and my electration says that the ecu doesn't match this engine i have to get cf/4 or cf/3 ecu for vtec on.

Also my car rpm'z are not standing properly and guy said its also cuz of not matched ecu. He manually checked ecu with sum errors and after that he told me all this story.
Is he right?

Is there a label on the ECU? Whats the ECU model code?

Possibly wiring not done correctly.

There are a number of reasons the vtec wont engage. Following affect vtec:
speed sensor not working
RPM meter not working
not enough oil pressure
Temperature sensor not working
VTEC solenoid(s) not working

How exactly is the RPM behaving? constant increase/decrease? If yes, could be a vacuum leak (or air in coolant system).

Lastly, what are the error codes?

Bro if u r in karachi.. go to polo electrician near landi kotal pit shop.. he will tell you the fault within 5 min.

Dual vtec has two vtec solenoids on it.

ECU is P2J and wiring is OBD2A
