Differentiate b/w japanese and pakistani corolla (1996-2002)

hi in model years 1996-2002 how can we differentiate between corolla pakistani and japanese?
also does 2OD had japanese variants in (2002-2008) generation? and in previous onentoo.

Your question is quite vague,

There is a laundry list of differences ranging from being as small as wiring clips to type of materials for plastics to paint shades and everything in between.

In diesel engines some markets had the plain 2C, in others you had 3C with turbo and emmissions gear on it, some markets got a DI variant too.

So a more targeted question would find a better answer

The chasis plate, registration documents can answer if the car was a Japanese import or indus motors assembled.

Also the Japanese ones were manufactured from 1992 to 1995 only.

i mean to ask how can I identify if the corolla in consideration is japanese or pakistani? like does japanese had something in their chassis number from which we can identify its japanese? or like a model code like e100 etc.
