And true, scratch X does cost that much. In situations like this, it makes sense to get it and have them do it if the person isnt much of a DIY'er. I'd still opt for a dedicated compound and polish which are hand application compatible
Like I said, its a good brand on a budget. never heard anyone complain. I see they sell complete bundles and those cost less than most of the branded polishes and compounds let alone waxes and sealants.
At the end of the day, if there's a product out there that fits your budget and helps protect your cars paint, get it. it'll help in preventing issues like this
