Salam Pakwheelers,I went to the nearest petrol station (PSO) to buy some battery water to mix with coolant. I have reservations wether or not it is actually distilled water or not. I have attatched pictures below and would appreciate any experienced member to share their opinion. Also I will be purchasing Caltex coolant concentrate so please advise me which outlet is company operated in Karachi.
Red bottles were usually acid mix
A good source of distilled water is from your home A/C. I suggest to place a clean and dry bottle at your A/C drain and collect the water. Free and confirmed pure distilled water.
That seems like a good idea thank you!
The red bottle and blue bottle have exactly the same taste. Please don't ask how I got to know (I did not drink it ) . It tastes kind of sweet. Do you suggest using ac condensate water?. Thank you for the help!
If it has a sour taste, its acid.
Find a bottler and buy some RO water, easy work
Thats great will get water from plant nearby. Thank you.
without testing TDS, do not use this water.
for safe side, buy AGS battery tonic or Exide water.
Yes, I didn't want to take any chance with this. I appreciate the help!
Exactly, i am also using AGS Battery Tonic/Exide water to dilute the caltex concentrated coolant.
